  • You will never see the money you paid for renting a home while paying for mortgages allows you to establish your home’s equity ownership interest.
  • Purchasing a home gives you a fixed-mortgage payment, which means it doesn’t increase over the years, a feature that is not the same when you choose to rent a home. Also, housing costs have greater chances of decreasing in value especially when you own the property for a longer period of time.

    • And I thought I was the sensible one. Thanks for stteing me straight.

      • The concept of home is what you want it to be. Throughout the enrite rant, you say a home is where you are most comfortable and feel safest at.I find this line compromising to your message of home is a feeling : But in our materialistic society, we forget the value of a home. We build houses and mansions, mistaking them to be homes What if those with mansions and castles decide they feel safe and loved with that dwelling? It is obviously their home. Or if some individual builds a place and feels it is his place? You can make a home, and i don’t belive it is any less authentic than finding one. Also: That’s why we build houses, not homes. That’s why so many people, though happy in every other way, are still searching for that feeling of home I also feel that it isn’t the materialistc sence of society as much as it is the fall of the Maternal Family, as in materialism isn’t the focus, I think the feeling of home has alot to do with how you feel and the safety and loveingness of a family.Sorry the generalization of Mansion builders finding and empty shell of their home and materialism, whats the deal? with that? i mean really can I e-mail the writer ro something. Those concepts sort of fustrate me.

    • Saad:

You have two choices for aagrbin hotels in the center of the Strip: Imperial Palace and Casino Royale. If all you’re looking for is a clean bed and a place to put your clothes, they’ll be the cheapest in that part of town. But for a few dollars more, you can get a better, bigger room at the Flamingo or Bally’s, especially if you’re staying Sunday through Thursday. Harrah’s might also be available for a similar price. One other option is Bill’s Gambling Saloon. It used to be cheaper before being bought out by Harrah’s, but once in a while they’ll post a good price. Of all the hotels, this is the fastest one to walk from your hotel room to the Strip.

  • Exciting ideas, thanks for sharing them in Las Vegas Luxury Homes: To Own or To Rent? | Luxury Homes of Las Vegas Blog.
